James Pond: Codename RoboCod was originally released in 1991, a follow-up to the original James Pond in 1990. Fourteen years later, the sequel was brought to the Game Boy Advance at a budget price. Players take the role of James Pond, a secret agent who happens to be a fish. Or a tadpole. Or something. James Pond: Codename RoboCod is a platformer based on collecting items. Just about every item you can imagine, in fact. Foods, drinks, toys, sweets—there are objects littered all over the levels, and collecting them for bonuses is a central element of James Pond. Codename RoboCod features large levels with odd, psychedelic themes, like a nightmare sequence from a Disney movie. This remake of James Pond: Codename RoboCod was also released for the original PlayStation.
