Vibrant, creative and highly engaging – Constant C most certainly isn’t an average Indie Game; it proposes an idea and tells a story, it blends interactive play and game mechanics with an actual background and nevertheless, it defies the laws of physics.
Rendered in an isometric 2D platform design, Constant C embraces the theory of relativity belonging to Einstein, therefore trying to prove that time could stretch beyond limit, courtesy to the gameplay mechanics.
Players find themselves on a remote space station, in the year 1905, in a context in which time has been distorted and/or altered. Advancing through the game players need to uncover the meaning behind their existence and behold the actual reality, whether it has to do with death or immortality – Constant C manages to create an impressive abiding momentum and climax which riddle the entire 100+ levels.
Available for Xbox 360 and PC, the developers of Constant C, International Games System have succeeded in creating an outstanding puzzle, which is both kawaii and demanding.
