Skullgirls dev Lab Zero Games has successfully crowdfunded its next game, 2D action RPG, Indivisible. Raising $1,500,000 has now moved into its stretch goal phase, with its first target unlocking music from legendary composer Horoki Kikuta at $1,650,000. The second goal is an animated intro storyboarded by LA studio Titmouse and animated by a Japanese anime studio.
Indivisible’s crowdfunding campaign has three days to go, while the Indiegogo ‘InDemand’ campaign will continue uninterrupted. Indivisible will also star playable characters from other indie games alongside its core cast, including the likes of Annie from Skullgirls, Calibretto from Battle Chasers, The Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter, Juan from Guacamelee!, Lea from Curses N’ Chaos, Red from Transistor, Shovel Knight from the game of the same name, Shantae from Shantae and Zackasaurus from Super Time Force.
A gorgeous hand-drawn RPG inspired Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid, Indivisible also features a “deep storyline” based on Southeast Asian and other world mythologies, starring Ajna, a girl on a globe-trotting journey to discover the truth behind her mysterious powers. Indivisible will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
